The Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly has presented its proposed budget for the 2027 fiscal year. before the Ministry of Economic Development .
The budget appraisal exercise was conducted at the State Secretariat Complex, Idongesit Nkanga Avenue, Uyo.
The delegation of the House was led by the Clerk of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Mrs. Nsikakabasi Orok.
During the exercise, the Assembly presented a total budget size of #48.683 billion for the 2027 fiscal year.
The exercise is expected to assist the Ministry of Economic Development in assessing the proposals submitted by various MDAs and ensuring that they align with the development priorities and objectives of the state.
