The Administrator of Bonny Local Government Area, Mr. Kingsley Banigo, has kicked-off a one million naira Youths and Business Empowerment Programme for residents of the Area.
The Administrator stated this today during a courtesy visit by the Central Executive Council of the Bonny Youth Federation (BYF), led by its Leader, Mr. Anthony Banigo, at the Council Secretariat in Bonny.
Mr. Kingsley Banigo noted that the initiative is designed to support young entrepreneurs and improve small businesses in Bonny Local Government as well as across the thirty five Chieftaincy Houses in Bonny Kingdom.
The business empowerment will ensure the provision of one million naira each to one hundred Youths and Entrepreneurs.
The Administrator further disclosed to the leadership of National Union of Bonny Students who were on a courtesy visit the approval of the sum of #20,000 naira as bursary for each registered Student of National Union of Bonny Students.
