Thousands of women have taken over streets in Bonny Island offering Prayers to God and calling for the end to the state of Emergency in Rivers State and the return of suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
The women carrying placards with various inscription rejecting the undemocratic leadership of Retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas noted that Rivers People voted for Governor Fubara and not Retired Vice Admiral Ibas.
The prayer rally in Bonny Local Government Area by the women continues to reflects the collective resolve of some Rivers people against the current undemocratic leadership in the state.
