Super Falcons goal stopper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been shortlisted for the 2025 Women’s Yachine Trophy of the Ballon d’Or, following a standout year for both club and country.

The 24-year-old was instrumental in Paris FC’s Coupe de France triumph, making two crucial saves in a dramatic penalty shootout win over Paris Saint-Germain—securing the club’s first title in two decades.

On the international stage, Nnadozie played a key role in Nigeria’s successful WAFCON campaign, keeping four clean sheets as the Super Falcons clinched a record 10th title. She was named the tournament’s Best Goalkeeper and earned a spot in the Team of the Tournament.

Nnadozie is one of five goalkeepers nominated for this year’s Yachine Trophy, which honours the best goalkeeper in women’s football.

The Nigerian goal stopper is joined on the shortlist by Ann-Katrin Berger (Germany), Cata Coll (Spain), Hannah Hampton (England), and Daphne van Domselaar (Netherlands).

The winner will be announced at the Ballon d’Or ceremony later this year.
