Director General of the Delta State Bureau for Communications and Orientation, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe says the recent defection of Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori and the entire PDP structure to the All Progressives Congress explains the flexibility of a democratic system under constitutional democracy which enables freedom of association.
Dr Oghenesivbe,who stated this during a public affairs programme said Delta APC is now bigger, stronger and more viable to deliver all candidates of APC effortlessly in 2027, including President Bola Tinubu and governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
He posited that Governor Oborevwori as the new leader of the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, the governor shall do the needful to foster the unity of all and sundry across board.
The DG, Bureau of Communications and Orientation, described Delta State Governor, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori as a team player, humble and a courageous leader, determined to advance Delta beyond 2027.
Dr Oghenesivbe urged new members of the APC in Delta to see themselves as one united family, shun divisive statements and tendencies, assuring.that Governor Oborevwori will do the needful to balance all political equations for the benefit of stakeholders and all Deltans.
“Governor Oborevwori is a selfless leader, a team player, firm and pragmatic. His commitment to selfless service cannot be over emphasized.
“The governor’s new role as APC leader in Delta State comes with enomoua responsibilities, and I can tell you for free that he’s equal to the task as a team player, a unifier and father to all Deltans.
“The majority of Deltans are happy about the recent political developments in the state, and as loyalists to the party and the governor, the entire political family will obviously rally around him for the progress of our great party, APC,” Oghenesivbe said.
