
The Bayelsa State Education Development Trust Fund has presented one hundred double bunker beds, two hundred mattresses and ten laptops to the Bayelsa State College of Nursing Sciences, Tombia-Ekpetiama.
At the handover ceremony held at the school’s auditorium, officials of the EDTF emphasized that the items were donated to enhance the quality of education at the institution and improve health care delivery in the State.

For the students and management of the Bayelsa State School of Nursing Sciences, Tombia-Ekpetiama, their joy knows no bounds following the presentation of 100 double bunker beds, 200 mattresses and 10 laptops to the institution.
Handing over the items to the school, Chairman of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly Committee on Education, Dr. Charles Daniel commended the EDTF for its interventions, stating that the gesture would enhance teaching and learning in the school.

Chairman of the occasion who heads the Bayelsa State Traditional Rulers Council and Ibenanaowei of Ekpetiama Kingdom, King Bubaraye Dakolo represented by the Amananaowei of Gbarantoru, and other organisations and well to do individuals to invest more in the institution.
Chairman of the EDTF Board, High Chief Fidelis Agbiki charged the leadership of the Nursing School to ensure proper management of the items donated.
Executive Secretary of the Bayelsa State Education Development Trust Fund, Professor Ebimieowei Etebu said the donation of the items aligns with the EDTF’s mandate to support critical education infrastructure across the State.
A representative of the acting Amananaowei of Tombia-Ekpetiama, Chief Betenye Otobo, the Provost of the Institution, Dr. Kenneth Wasini, President of the Students Union Government, Yinks Kemokeme and other students such as Princess Osakwe thanked the EDTF for the gesture.
Highpoint of the event was the formal presentation and handover of the items to the Bayelsa State College of Nursing Sciences.
