News Staff of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Radio Nigeria, have been charged on creativity and ingenuity in the discharge of their duties to meet up with the current trend in their reportage.
The Director News, Radio Nigeria, Ms Husseina Akila, while interacting with members of the News Department of Atlantic FM in Uyo, charged them to focus more on issue and solution based reportage and not on personalities.
Ms Akila commended their resilience and commitment while encouraging them to put in their best, exhibit humility as well as hard work and shun unethical practices.
The Director News noted that management was aware of and are working on overcoming the various challenges in the system.
Thanking the Director for taking out time to meet with staff, the Acting Head of News, Uko Sam, gave an assurance that staff will imbibe the knowledge gained from the interaction to improve on their duties as reporters.
