
Niger Development Commission NDDC Delta State Office has been inaugurated.
Performing the Inauguration in Warri Delta State, the Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori who acknowledged that the present NDDC administration has achieved remarkable milestones in the quest to develop the region, promised to partner the commission on project delivery especially, Warri Escravos road.
The Inauguration of NDDC Delta State office was heartwarming and motivational for the staff and Deltans who have been yearning for the realization of the project that started about thirteen years ago.
Inaugurating the project, Delta State Governor, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori who acknowledged that the edifice brought development closer to the people, asked residents to create enabling environment that would attract more projects to the state.

While applauding NDDC for the remarkable milestones achieved, Governor Oborevwori pledged readiness to partner NDDC for project execution in the state, especially Warri Escravos Road.
In a remark, Chairman Seventh NDDC board, Mr. Chiedu Ebie acknowledged that the support from key stakeholders has been pivotal in the progress recorded by the present board.

Mr. Ebie who called for synergy to enhance the development of the region revealed that the commission was working in partnership with a major oil giant to deliver Warri Escravos road.
Addressing the gathering, NDDC MD, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku who described the completion of the complex as an evidence of renewed Hope Agenda, explained that on assumption of office, only Rivers and Imo States have State offices, while others were on rent.

DR. Ogbuku who said present management has inaugurated three state offices while other projects were in line for Inauguration to mark two years of present management.
He appreciated the president for supporting regional development for the benefit of the people, adding that he has funded NDDC more than previous presidents.
The MD stated that the Commission has a partnership with NLNG worth over six hundred and fifty billion naira.
According to him, the commission was working on the mandate of President Tinubu to complete abandoned projects across the region.
He appreciated National Assembly for budget approval and allocation of funds to execute projects in the region.
In the same vein, Minister of Regional Development, Chief Abubakar Momoh, said that the commission has a marching order by President to complete abandoned projects across the region which led to completion and Inauguration of several projects by NDDC.
Chief Momoh commended NDDC for other human capacity development programmes by the commission aimed at promoting peace in the region.
He advised staff of Delta State office to own the facility and prevent vandalism of equipments.
On his part, Chairman Senate Committee on NDDC, Senator Asuquo Ekpeyong noted that the Mark made by NDDC has been recognized by Notable organizations and development partners.
Senator Ekpeyong who asserted that the edifice would enhance protect supervision, pledged the support of National Assembly to NDDC .
The Executive Director Projects NDDC, Dr.Victor Antai while giving the project brief noted that the complex was second in the series of prototype NDDC State offices.
DR. Antai who stated that the office would promote efficiency in service delivery by staff of the commission, appreciated cooperation by host community.
