As the Nigeria National League Super Eight Promotion Play-Offs at the Stephen Keshi International Stadium, Asaba enter day two, the General Manager of Crown FC, Olumide Olupeju has expressed dissatisfaction over the officiating of the match between his club and Kun Khalifat FC that ended one nil in favour of the Kun Khalifat FC .

Olupeju who expressed his outburst in a post match interview with Radio Nigeria Asaba, faulted what he described as a controversial penalty the referee awarded to the Kun Khalifat FC, saying that he would challenge it before the management of NNL.

He said he was disappointed about the officiating despite the assurances of fair officiating by the chairman of the Nigeria National League Board, George Aluo during the draws ceremony for match fixtures .

The Crown Football Club General Manager appealed to the officiating team to ensure fair officiating in the remaining matches so as not to damper the enthusiasm and high spirits of players.

He said despite the initial setback, he had confidence in his players who according to him, will secure promotion ticket to the Nigeria Professional Football League .

Meanwhile, in match day one, Barau FC played goaless with the Yobe Desert Stars FC; just the same goaless situation in a match between Wikki Tourists FC and Doma Utd FC.

In the fourth match of the day, Osun United FC beat Warri Wolves FC by a lone goal.
