The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has applauded the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for its recent successful operation in dismantling a sophisticated cybercrime syndicate operating within our borders.
The Director General of the Agency, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu in a statement by Bala Musa ,Director Communication and Media , describes feat as a strong statement that Nigeria will not tolerate criminality in any form, regardless of the nationality of the perpetrators.
Issa-Onilu emphasised that Nigeria as a sovereign nation committed to upholding ethical standards and the rule of law, must safeguard national integrity and reputation in the global community.
He stated further, ”While NOA continues to promote ethical conduct and responsible citizenship through the National Value Charter and our various public sensitization campaigns, I call on all Nigerians and non Nigerians alike to respect our laws and desist from any act capable of undermining our national security and moral fabric”
”Nigeria will not be a haven or dumping ground for criminal enterprises. The message is clear: cyber criminals, whether foreign nationals or citizens, must realise that our enforcement agencies are vigilant, equipped, and resolute in bringing perpetrators to justice”

He urges all stakeholders, community leaders, traditional institutions, educational institutions, civil society, and the media to reinforce these values at all levels and partner government in creating a culture of integrity, patriotism, and civic responsibility.
”We commend the EFCC for demonstrating decisive leadership in this regard. This is how nations are built through collective accountability and firm adherence to the rule of law”, Issa-Onilu stated.
