Nigeria National Senior Men’s football team Super Eagles are set to take on the Reggae Boys of Jamaica in the final of the Unity Cup after both teams secured victories in their semifinal matches in London.

‎Nigeria reached the final after debutant Femi Azeez scored twice in a 2-0 victory over Zimbabwe at The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic while ‎Jamaica booked their place in the final after defeating India 2-0 in the second semi-final.

Much of the attention ahead of the final will focus on Femi Azeez after his explosive start with Nigeria.

‎The Nigerian attacker impressed throughout the semi-final against Zimbabwe with his movement, pace, and finishing. His early opener gave Nigeria control, while his second-half strike confirmed their place in the final.

‎The final which will take place tomorrow Saturday 30th of May, will renew a growing rivalry between Nigeria and Jamaica in the Unity Cup.

‎The two nations met in the 2025 Unity Cup final in London, where Nigeria lifted the trophy after a dramatic penalty shootout following a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

The Super Eagles eventually won 5-4 on penalties to secure the Unity Cup title.
