Nigeria’s Governments has beeen urged to support the Trans Niger Pipeline, TNP, Surveillance Agency, Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited, by adding to the capacity of the Agency for economic development in the Nation.

Speaking at a briefing, the Pipeline Host Ethnic Nationality Leaders of the Eastern Corridor, through its spokesman, Mr. Famous Daunemigha, said the impact of the TNP surveillance Agency has brought advancement and peace to Oil bearing communities in the Country.

Daunemiga said, “For recognition of a job well done, we call on the President and all relevant federal agencies not to only renew the PINL contract, but also expand its scope of operations. The PINL has proven itself as a key partner in the actualization of President Bola Tinubu renewed hope Agenda, especially in the host communities of the Eastern Corridor, and the wider Niger Delta region.”
“As the safe war against vandars and kpo-fire operators, has drastically reduced environmental pollution, communities will now enjoy clean air and healthier environments,” he stated.

A youth leader, the President of the Movement for the Survival of Izon Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta, MOSIEND, Dr. Kennedy West also envision a Country that will be at the peak of global oil Market if the Agency is given the needed enablement to protect the TNP.

West said, “We have absolute confidence with pipeline infrastructure and ask the government to continue to give them the needed support. If government takes them very, very seriously as we in the community do, in no distant time time, what we have just done that quotas given to Nigeria in OPEC surpasses, very soon we are going to surpass every other nation of the earth in terms of supply in PMS and other petroleum products to global market.”

The host communities within the Trans Niger Pipeline comprises, Ijaw, Ekpeye, Ikwerre, Ogoni, Andoni, Egbema, Ukwa, Oguta, amongst others.
