DR. OGBUKU IN ORUMA COMMUNITY, BAYELSA STATE

Managing Director Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku has reiterated the determination to extend Development to rural communities.
Dr. Ogbuku made the commitment while on inspection of ongoing road project at Oruma Community in Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, insisting that the the project would soon be completed.
The Managing Director who also paid a courtesy visit on the paramount ruler of the community noted that the road apart from boosting socio-cultural activities, is also a regional link road.
On his part, the paramount ruler of Oruma Community, King David Amakiri who described the intervention by NDDC as a big relief after several efforts in the past failed, expressed confidence that the project would open up economic activities in the locality.

The monarch appreciated the commission for the road and installation of solar powered streetlight in the area.
The Paramount ruler of Oruma Community however requested NDDC to carry out more projects in Place.
Other management staff accompanied the Managing Director on the project inspection.
