Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, the ALGON Chairman and Chairman of Uyo Local Government Area, Dr. Uwemedimo Udo, lauded Governor Eno for his remarkable achievements in the past 29 months, describing his leadership as “people-centered, inclusive, and development-driven.”
Dr. Udo pledged that the grassroots structures across the 31 LGAs will be mobilized to sustain and deepen support for the Governor’s vision under the ARISE Agenda.
In a response, Governor Umo Eno expressed delight and appreciation for the solidarity and synergy between the State and Local Government systems.
The Governor lauded the Chairmen for the visible projects and impact across their councils, affirming that no LGA had fallen short of expectations.
“There is no local government that I am not happy with. I’m proud of all of you because you’re doing well. Continue in that spirit of cooperation and healthy peer review so that development reaches every corner of our State,” the Governor said.
Governor Eno charged the Chairmen to sustain mutual respect and collaboration among themselves and with traditional rulers, adding that his administration remains committed to equitable dvelopment across all local government areas.
“As Local Government Chairmen, you are my eyes in your areas. Galvanize your people, build trust and confidence, and let them feel the impact of governance,” he urged.
