
Delta State Sports Commission has dissolved the entire structure of Delta Queens Football Club including the management board, technical crew, and the players.
A statement by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Franka Okonma says the dissolution is part of a strategic restructuring plan aimed at repositioning the club for greater efficiency, professionalism and competitive performance in the Nigeria Women Football League.

According to the statement, a new management and technical structure will be constituted in due course, alongside fresh recruitment, to restore the club’s status as a leading force in Nigeria Women’s Football.
”We remain committed to building a vibrant and successful football culture in Delta State ”, the statement added.
Recall that Delta Queens Football Club failed to make it to the Super 6 in the 2025 Nigeria Women Football League following abysmal performances in her group matches.
