
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has charged Corps Members to be of “impeccable integrity and credibility” as they play “active and pivotal role ahead of conduct of 2027 general elections.
The Governor stated this today at the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Nonwa-Gbam, Tai, during the closing ceremony of 2026 Batch A Stream II orientation course for Corps Members deployed to the State, advised them to discharge their INEC ad-hoc duties with fearless moral uprightness in order to live up to the expectations of Nigerians.
Represented by the Director of Administraton, office ofuk-Dandy, Fubara,he assured them of their welfare and security while urging them to be beacon of hope to good ambassadors of the NYSC Scheme.

In his address, the NYSC State Coordinator in the State, Mr. Moses Oleghe commended the Corps Members for their patriotic spirit, resilience, and enthusiasm which made them to achieve the intended objectives of the orientation course.
He enjoined them to see their service year as a time to discover their true purpose in life and acquire relevant skills that will put food on their table rather than wait for white-collar jobs.
The Corps Members who spoke with our corresponded described their experience as exciting except for the early morning drills.
A total of 3596 Corps Members made up of 1297 males, and 2299 females successfully completed the 3-week orientation exercise.
