
The Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area, Godwin Ogorugba, has congratulated Maro Orobosa Ashakah on his victory in the All Progressives Congress primary election for the Isoko North Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ogorugba in a congratulatory message, personally signed by him, described Ashaka’s emergence as a reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in him by the people and party stakeholders and urged the APC flag bearer to remain humble, focused, and committed to carrying everyone along as the party prepares for the general elections.
He urged the APC flag bearer to remain focused, humble, and inclusive as the party intensifies preparations for the 2027 polls.
“I warmly congratulate Engr. Orobosa Ashakah on his emergence as the APC candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly, Isoko North Constituency. This victory is not just personal, but a responsibility entrusted to him by the people,” Ogorugba stated.
The council chairman further encouraged Ashakah to work harmoniously with other aspirants, especially those who stepped down in support of his ambition, stressing the need for unity within the party.
According to him, collective efforts and cooperation among party members would strengthen the APC’s chances of victory in the forthcoming general elections.
Ogorugba also commended the people of Isoko North for the peaceful and orderly conduct witnessed during the party primaries, describing their maturity and commitment to peace as commendable.
He called on party faithful to sustain the spirit of unity and cooperation while praying for wisdom, strength, and success for all APC candidates who have emerged so far.
The chairman reaffirmed his commitment to the growth, ideals, and aspirations of the APC in Delta State.
