The 2025 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) Cultural Day dazzled with color, creativity, and cultural pride on May 9 at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos. The annual celebration of African heritage through fashion, music, and dance brought together a host of celebrities and industry icons in spectacular traditional attire.
Big Brother Naija stars Liquorose and Prince Nelson Enwerem stole the spotlight, emerging as the Best Dressed Female and Male of the night. Both were awarded ₦1 million each, courtesy of event sponsor Goldberg, in recognition of their stunning cultural fashion statements.
Liquorose wore a regal Yoruba-inspired outfit designed by Prudent Atelier, complete with intricate beadwork, coral accessories, and a bold headpiece. Prince Nelson, a former Mr. Nigeria, paid homage to Benin culture with a richly embroidered ensemble that radiated elegance and tradition.
