As part of it’s community engagement and social responsibility initiative , the Akwa Ibom State Police Command has donated food items to Divine Children Home located at Atan Offot, Uyo, the state capital.
Commissioner of Police Akwa Ibom State Police Command, Mr. Baba Azare, who made the presentation on behalf of the Police Command, said the initiative was in support of the well-being of the children residing at the Home and a demonstration of their commitment beyond law enforcement.
The State Commissioner of Police said the gesture underscores the Police Command’s dedication to fostering positive relationships within the community and extending care to its most vulnerable members.
The Caretaker of the Divine Children Home, Miss Emenebong Okokon, expressed gratitude to the Commissioner of Police and the officers and personnel of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command for their kindness and generosity.Some of the items presented include bags of rice and other food items.
