NDDC BOARD READY TO CHANGE WRONG OPINIONS ABAOUT THE COMMISSION

MD, DR OGBUKU AT THE THANKSGIVING

Managing Director, Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku says the present board is determined to change the wrong opinions about the commission. 

Dr. Ogbuku who  made the commitment during  Annual Thanksgiving Service organised by the NDDC Christian Fellowship at the Commission’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, maintained that the interventionist agency would continue to develop the rural communities. 

The Managing Director who emphasized the importance of Thanksgiving, enjoined staff to  pray for the progress of the commission as management makes efforts to actualize the mandate of the agency. 

While appreciating God for peace,  protection and provisions, Dr. Ogbuku commended the leadership of the fellowship for sustaining the annual Thanksgiving. 

In a homily, the guest minister, pastor Remi Odebode reminded staff of the importance of Thanksgiving, adding that appreciating God for blessings, will open more doors. 

He noted that God has been good both to the staff and management.

On his part, the fellowship’s  resident pastor, Udoma Sunday, while thanking God for his goodness and mercies upon the fellowship and entire staff, appreciated management for support. 

The Thanksgiving featured praise and worship sessions from gospel ministers as well as prayers for staff, commission and the nation in general. 

The annual thanksgiving service has become a tradition, bringing staff and management together to appreciate God for his blessings throughout the year.
