The executive Director Projects, EDP, Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mr. Victor Antai, has reiterated the determination of the commission to continue to collaborate with Niger Delta University Amasoma Bayelsa State.
Mr. Antai who made the commitment during a working visit to the institution said that the visit was to have on the spot assessment of needs in the University and ways to help them
.
According to the EDP, NDDC would partner the school in research and infrastructural Development among other areas.
Earlier on, The Vice Chancellor of Niger Delta University Amasoma, Professor Allen Agih called for assistance from the interventionist agency to expand the ICT unit of the school, herbal medicine as well as infrastructural Development.
Professor Agih Appreciated NDDC for citing other projects in the school, including ongoing one thousand bed space hostel.
The vice Chancellor told the delegation that the school was already producing bottle water and bread within the campus as an indication of her emphasis on skills as against theory.
NDDC has previously carried out some projects in the school including donation of generating set and construction of internal roads.
