6 DIVISION GARRISON NIGERIAN ARMY BUSTS ANOTHER ILLEGAL BUNKERING SITE IN ODAGWA COMMUNITY, RIVERS STATE

6 Division Garrison Nigerian Army Port Harcourt has raided another bunkering site at Odagwa Community in Etche Local Government Area Rivers State.
The Commander 6 Division Garison, Brigadier General Eddie Effiong who conducted journalists round the vast area harboring the illegal refinery said the raid followed a tip off through intelligence gathering.
Brigadier General Effiong who told news men that about eight reservoirs and many cooking pots were discovered at the site expressed displeasure over the level of economic sabotage involved.
Brigadier General Effiong who is also the commander sector three Operation Delta Safe warned those perpetrating the act to desist from the act added that the Army would not compromise the fight against oil theft.
According to the Garrison Commander, the infrastructure used by the vandals would be destroyed while the petroleum products would be confiscated.
Brigadier General Effiong stated that the Army embarked on sensitization to communities to educate the youths and residents on the implications of their actions.
