The Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Council, Friday Ovoke Warri, has congratulated winners of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta State House of Assembly primaries for Isoko North Constituency, Isoko South Constituency I and Isoko South Constituency II ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Those returned unopposed through affirmation during the party primaries are incumbent lawmaker representing Isoko South Constituency II, Ferguson Onwo; former Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, Lucky Idhoveh for Isoko South Constituency I; and Maro Orobosa Ashakah for Isoko North Constituency.

Warri described the APC in Isoko Nation as united, peaceful and organised, stressing that the seamless conduct of the primaries reflected the party’s internal harmony and strength.

“As a united and harmonious family, we have successfully conducted a free, fair and credible primary election. I warmly congratulate this exceptional trio that will fly the flag of our great party in the three constituencies of Isoko Nation during the forthcoming Delta State House of Assembly elections,” he said.

He noted that the exercise remained a “family affair,” insisting that there were no losers in the contest.

“This election is considered a family affair and, as such, there are no winners or losers. We remain one united political family,” Warri added.

Meanwhile, the Isoko South Council Chairman has also felicitated former Chairman of Isoko South Local Government and Grand Patron of the Isoko Development Union (IDU), High Chief Idu Amaidhe, on his birthday anniversary.

In a statement personally signed by him, Warri praised Amaidhe’s leadership qualities and contributions to the peace, unity and development of Isoko Nation.

“I cordially felicitate our esteemed father and leader, High Chief Idu Amaidhe, immediate past President General of the Isoko Development Union, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.

“As you celebrate today, we pray that God Almighty grants you greater wisdom, prosperity and honour to continue being a strong voice for the Isoko Nation and beyond.

“Your unwavering commitment and selfless service have continued to promote peace, stability, growth and progress among the Isoko people, while your wealth of leadership experience remains invaluable to us all,” the statement read.

Warri thanked the former IDU President-General for consistently projecting the Isoko Nation positively and wished him good health and many more years of celebration.
