NDDC HOLD THANKSGIVING, UNVEILS STAFF CLUB HOUSE

Thanksgiving has been described as a veritable channel to attract more blessings from God. 

The Senior pastor of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie who made this known during  Thanksgiving by Staff and management of Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC in Port Harcourt Rivers State explained that giving God thanks is acknowledgement of his supremacy. 

Pastor Ibiyeomie who acknowledged that present leadership of NDDC led by Dr. Samuel Ogbuku has honoured God, prayed for peace and progress of the commission. 

On his part, the Managing Director NDDC DR Samuel Ogbuku said that it was worthwhile to give thanks to God for his protection and blessings upon the staff and management. 

Dr. Ogbuku noted that the commission inaugurated some key projects recently in different parts of the region and the events were successful. 

He attributed the success to God’s mercy and loving kindness.

Meanwhile, the Managing Director Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku says the welfare of staff is paramount to the management. 

Dr. Ogbuku who made this known while unveiling NDDC Staff Club House in Port Harcourt Rivers State, noted that it would foster unity among staff and management. 

The MD who acknowledged that official duty may be hectic sometimes, asked staff to feel free to reach him even at the club house, saying it would be a place for relaxation. 

The Chief Executive Officer of NDDC, who expressed confidence of adequate security due to the location, said it was in fulfilment of his promise to staff. 

Similarly, the Executive Director Corporate Services, Otunba Ifedayo Abegunde who noted that the idea of a relaxation place for staff was a good initiative of the MD, enjoined staff to support the present leadership, as it has great plans that would be of great benefit to the commission and the Niger Delta Region. 

While applauding the MD for the gesture, the staff Union Chairman, comrade Anthony Gbendo  said that the Managing Director made his work of interfacing between staff and management easy. 

Comrade Gbendo   acknowledged that the Managing Director has the interest of staff at heart. 

The unveiling of the Facility was preceded by a church thanksgiving by the commission. 

The staff club house has restaurant, lodging accommodation, spar, barbing salon, gym among others
