NDDC HOLDS INCOME AND WAGES WORKSHOP

Managing Director Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC Dr Samuel Ogbuku says welfare and remuneration of staff is paramount to management. 

Dr. Ogbuku who made the assertion during a two-Day workshop on Wage Administration, policies Implementation and Revenue Generation in Public Agencies in Port Harcourt Rivers State admitted that motivation and proper remuneration was a catalyst to high productivity. 

He encouraged staff to put in their best as management was committed to sustainable good condition of service. 

In a lecture on personal leadership skills, Executive Chairman National Salaries Income and wages Commission, Mr. Ekpo Nta who emphasized on ethics and integrity in administration to ensure progress, enjoined participants to acquire leadership skills and prioritize personal development. 

He encouraged staff to set personal development goals that would guarantee improvement. 

Earlier in a Welcome address, the Executive Director Finance and Administration, Chief Boma Iyaye  who was represented by Director Finance, Mrs. Asu Kunemofa while stressing the importance of wage Administration, noted that effective wage management was key to unlocking employee’s satisfaction, productivity as well as organizational success.
